Het Zwanenwater

Hidden in the North Holland dunes near the seaside resort of Callantsoog, there is a very diverse dune area of 600 hectares. The two dune lakes of Zwanenwater are the two largest natural dune lakes in Western Europe: the first water and slightly further south the second water with the Bokkeneiland.

Marked trails

You can walk freely on the marked hiking trails. From April 1 to August 1 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. From 1 August to 1 April from sunrise to sunset. Members of Natuurmonumenten and Landschap Noord-Holland have free admission. Non-members pay € 3 at the machine at the entrance of the park.
